Arrival:

You will be arriving at the Brussels National Airport (Zaventum) in Belgium.

Public Transport Options:

There are several ways that you can get from the airport to the Brussels city centre.

  1. By train: The airport train station is located below the terminal (basement level-1). Up to four trains per hour connect Brussels National Airport to the Brussels North, Brussels Central and Brussels Midi stations. You may check the train timetables here. When entering your search, make sure that you enter BRUXELLES NAT AIRPORT as your departure station or destination!
  2. By bus: The bus station is located on level 0 (one floor down from the arrivals hall) and can be easily reached by using the escalators or elevators.The Airport Line is a 30 minute express service between Brussels Airport and the European quarter, which is a stone’s throw away from the uptown shops. From Monday to Friday until 8 PM the Airport Line carries the number 12 and stops at the major stations. On weekdays after 8 PM, on Saturday, Sunday and holidays the Airport Line carries the number 21 and stops at all stations. You may purchase a ticket before boarding the bus from the GO vending machine located on platform C. For more information, please click here. One way tickets purchased from a vending machine cost  EUR 3 per person. One way tickets purchased from the driver on the bus cost EUR 5 per person.
  3. By taxi: Taxis are permanently available in front of the arrivals hall at the airport. The fare from the airport to the city centre of Brussels is normally around € 45. Licensed taxis can be recognised by their blue and yellow emblem. Travelers are advised to avoid unlicensed taxis!
